We will be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) as well as the club's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 17 August 2021 starting at 6:45pm, at the Croatia Deakin Soccer Club, 3 Grose Street, Deakin, ACT, 2600. This will be followed by the normal General Meeting.

 

Hi Members,

We will be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) as well as the club's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 17 August 2021 starting at 6:45pm, at the Croatia Deakin Soccer Club, 3 Grose Street, Deakin, ACT, 2600.  This will be followed by the normal General Meeting.

The SGM will be held so that we can vote on some proposed quorum changes to our constitution.

The key changes are:

• Reducing SGM and AGM Quorum from the lessor 20 members of 50% of membership to the lesser of 15 members or 50% of membership.
• Update "membership" for the purpose of voting in SGM and AGM  to include member present in person or via electronic means (who are entitled under these rules to vote at a general meeting).
• Change the non executive committee members from being exactly five to "be up to five" 

To ensure that we allow as many members to attend as possible we have also set up a Zoom meeting for those who do not feel comfortable with a physical meeting. 

Also a reminder, in order to vote at the AGM you need to be a financial member and to make it easier for you to join, we have created online forms here for our members to renew.

Remember there is an extra special raffle prize added for the night, so there is no real reasons why you shouldn't attend.
