Well, it’s less than a week until the 39th Annual Burrinjuck Convention. Shifts, accommodation, sponsorship, food and trophies have all been organised – the long-range forecast shows we’ve even got the weather sorted! It’s going to be a great weekend – a good opportunity to catch up with fellow anglers from across NSW and raise funds to keep the Club afloat.

Earlier this month a few of us headed up to the Talbingo Convention, run by the Wagga Wagga Boat Anglers Club. It was spectacular weather, but unfortunately, less than spectacular fishing. Greg Davis waved the flag for Canberra with a nice rainbow trout from Jounama, but that was pretty much thehighlight on the fishing scene. A few anglers caught trout in Talbingo, but overall, very few were caught.
