Daniel McNeice with two cracker Black Bream

Well summer has well and truly arrived and the fishing is pretty hot too!

I managed to squeeze in a day trip to Ulladulla just after the New Year on a wind change day. The seas were still a bit bumpy, but manageable. I planned to have a kingfish jigging session with past CFC President, Darren Hossack but all we could hook was snapper – good size snapper! We left them biting – what an awesome day!

The first Club outing for 2014 was the annual family Carpathon at Lake Burley Griffin. Great attendance with a good number of new members signing up on the day…and showing the rest of us how it’s done! Well done Daniel Clarke Steel! A great day to catch up with mates and soak a bait.
